Unconsolidated chop early with a little bit of new mashed potatoes. Put trail crampons on about 2/3 the way Ethan Allen. Wore them the rest of the way. Trail was tracked to the top of Ethan Allen. Nothing over to Ira Allen. Bushwhacked to the top using seams in the rock bands and returned. Could of used snowshoes on the ridge but cleats on some of the rock and ice was quite handy. Met Allen -- Happy Hiker. He said he had done 75 camel's humps this year. |
