Comments
Comments: Fun afternoon jaunt up Styles and Peru peak. The trail up to Styles is very easy to follow and barely required traction(although it was very much an enjoyable addition). It's pretty well tracked out during the majority of the trail, hardly any loose snow etc until you reach the ridge. The last 1/4-1/2 mile was slightly looser and had the occasional posthole.

Going from Styles to Peru is not quite as easy. I was the first one to walk that trail in a few weeks and it was a bit tough to follow at times. I didn't bring snowshoes so I ended up post-holing my way along but given that there still isn't much snow and there is a good frozen base it wasn't all that bad. It's 50/50 if you want to drag snowshoes up to styles to then continue to Peru peak. It appears as if someone has walked in from the other direction to Peru peak based on the tracks. Either way, my tracks should hang around for a bit and help the next person out.
