| Comments: |
Trail is open to snowmobiles and has been groomed. Given the fresh snow we've been getting, snowshoes were definitely the best option, since even the packed trail was still pretty soft, and barebooting would mean some real slow going. Passed two hikers w/ just microspikes on the way back, and while it's doable, it didn't look very fun. All in all, a nice day — make sure not to miss the 100-foot long viewpoint spur for Stannard Pond! |
