Trail Maintenance Notes: Dirt trails were well maintained; some blazes on rock sections are badly worn.
Dog-Related Notes

Bugs: A few small biting bugs, but nothing really problematic.
Lost and Found

Comments: I had perfect weather for this very challenging hike, but the recent rains have left their mark. The stretch of Maple Ridge Trail from CCC Road to the junction with Frost Trail was extremely wet, with lots of mud and slippery rock faces, and there was much wetness on all the mountain trails, even along the LT. Slippery rocks made for a slow descent along Sunset Ridge Trail. But this was a great hike with awesome views throughout. No regrets!
