Comments
Comments: Party of two, Bald Mountain Trail. 2" of crusty snow and ice, unfrozen water crossings, lightly tracked out. We used spikes and ascended without trouble. There are cleared window views at the top--one pointing toward Monadnock, the other toward Stratton. Pretty hiking up past the cascades and through the hemlock forest. Nice, short holiday-eve hike.
