| Comments: |
You could check off all (summer) surface conditions right now. Some wet rocks going up LT, some standing water on Haselton, few sections with treadway slightly roughed up but about normal conditions and trails surpringly in great shape. Nice talking to Drew Peterson and the volunteer caretaker at the Chin.
Conversations with other hikers had Maple Ridge, Nebraska Notch and Long Tr. from Nebraska Notch on up in good shape. Hoping to get input about Sunset Ridge but didn't talk to anyone using trail. Appears that Mansfield area also dodged Irene for most part. |
