Lot is plowed. About 8 cars when we arrived. Lot full and cars lined up a few cars back on one side of the road when we returned. |

-16F at the start. Trail was in good shape; no postholes. Got some intel from an early group finishing that spikes would be fine (thank you very much). Left the shoes in the car. If you wanted a bit more traction on some of the steeper downhills, the bigger bite from the snowshoe might have been useful, but it wasn't worth carrying the extra weight. |
