As noted above, after driving up into the gravel pit mentioned in the guidebook, and asking the very nice guys in the office trailer, we had some idea of where to park and a hazy description of how to access the trail. Directly across from the parking area, there’s a white house with a horseshoe driveway. Walk up the southern part of their driveway and continue through their backyard, sticking to the left. The trail becomes apparent after crossing a maybe seasonal stream.
I had been curious about this hike/peak for a while. Views were great from the tower, and overall an easy hike, once you can find the trail! |
