 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking for EP says "rough road" but it is not rough. Room for like 7ish cars there. Room for maybe 6 at Skyline. Lots weren't full at either visits on Sat or Sun. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Exclusively small rock hops except for one larger one 2ish miles into EP trail. It was fine this weekend but could be annoying after a lot of rain. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Both trails were in excellent shape, as was the LT, and I was pleasantly surprised. Only a small handful of easy step-overs and we had gorgeous GMC rock steps in a lot of the steep parts which was so appreciated. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |

 | Lost and Found: |
Someone left an empty fuel canister in the shelter. Come get it. |

**BLOG POST BELOW**
NOW IS THE TIME. GET OUT THERE ITS GORGEOUS. Yes, this hike lacked views from summits, doesn't matter though. But Sunset Rock made up for all of it. Pics of sunset and moonrise in the blog below. Excellent beginner backpacking trip or just a chill weekend for the more experienced! |
