 | Comments: |
Aunt Jenny Trail is quite steep and rough, making it a better route for ascent in my opinion. To get to the best viewpoint, one needs to descend a considerable way from the first trail closure sign (area closed for peregrine nesting through August) on a somewhat obscure path. This zigzags about 0.2 miles to an outstanding viewpoint over Silver Lake toward mountains to the south and toward the Adirondacks. |
