The trail was in good condition overall. There were some muddy spots, but nothing major. And there were a few old blowdowns, but again, nothing major.
On the day of my hike, there were some sporadic icy conditions at the higher elevations near the summit. However, with careful foot placement this did not present any problems, and no traction was needed.
