 | Comments: |
A few inches of powder on top of a breakable crust for most of the hike today. Some people barebooted which was probably fine below the shelter but seemed unenjoyable above. Between Abe and Ellen alternated between drifts and choppy barebooted mess from skiers being directed along the trail to access the Castlerock terrain. Above Castlerock the trail was mostly just drifts and I would definitely recommend snowshoes. |
