Comments
Comments: Great day, easy up to Jay Peaks 1st trail, then after trail difficult with snowshoes, I only used snowshoes but it would have been easier to put crampons or microspikes on to get over rocks with ice to summit but too cold and windy for me. Definitely easier to go around and take ski trail to tram building then ascend stairs to summit. Very windy, full winter gear. Then took ski trail over to Big Jay, two sets of prints over but 50% of time the snow drifted in their steps, you can see herd path when they disappeared. Plenty of snow on the Jays! On way back the snow started to cover prints but only in a small section.
