Comments
Comments: Skylight Trail had minimal snow at bottom bare booted until about a half mile from top, then put on snowshoes. Previous two hikers barebooted and left good size potholes and didn't always follow trail. I tried to stay on trail to Long Trail. On Long Trail, about 6 times I sunk thru snow on trail to find water below, try to stay on side of trail. You can easily see my sink holes. Only tracks to Wilson but sunk more times to Wilson. Recommend showshoes up top to smoothe out trail but think we will need about a foot to cover up and colder temps to freeze water underneath snow. Saw fresh coyote tracks, but only one!
