Hawkes Trail reaches the ridge, then a junction with the right trail leading 0.7 mile to the cliff overlooking Lake Willoughby, left trail going 0.3 mile to summit of Mt. Hor. A short bushwhack north of the trail's high point leads to the canister on a ledge highpoint. The trail continues downhill a short distance to a great view looking into eastern VT. |
