 | Comments: |
After squeezing two vehicles into the small parking area we walked about 100 yards south on Berry Hill Rd and found an unplowed woods road that led us up the mountain for about a 1/4 mile. At the end of the road we walked into VERY open woods with many trails networking along the mountain ridge. Beautiful open sections offered views to the west and the spine of the Green Mountains. We found the summit jar with some familiar names, Sue Johnson and Zack Porter. Haeded back the way we came. This is a must climb for anyone wanting to do an easy trailless peak with open woods and views; #59/100 on the NEK HH. |
