A few small wet drainages with little or no snow bridge but narrow enough to hop or step on rocks |

A couple of blowdowns near the top, easy to go under if a bit shorter |

one loose dog on trail, lots of poop (some was probably coyote because of the hair in it) |

springtails, aka snow fleas practically blackening the post holes nearer the summit |

 | Comments: |
A fun trail with lots of features, open hardwoods to begin and then spruce and fir further up, occasional crossing of ski trails, just keep an eye on the blue markers. After the shelter it got steeper and there were a couple of icy sections but snowshoes gripped it well. |
