The Burrows Trail is a hard packed sidewalk all the way to the summit and back. Out of the 30+ people I saw, only one was wearing snowshoes and he was barely making any tracks. Until there's more snow, there's no need for anything beyond microspikes, and honestly you can almost just bare boot until it starts to get steep. There were a couple frozen postholes on the sidehill part in the alpine zone, but other than that the trail is in fantastic condition. Super windy up top - basically just tagged the top and headed back down. |
