Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in nice shape. Removed lots of deadfall. Sign at top of Haselton Tr. removed to side of tollroad (most likely for ski season). Trail departs tollroad at top of Nose Dive Ski Trail and follows it for a few switchbacks and then departs into woods once again on left of ski trail. Large Haselton Tr. sign at entrance to woods.

Comments
Comments: Long Tr. (south), Haselton

Microspikes and poles very helpful today allowing for faster pace. Worst ice was section on ledges leading up to Taft Lodge. Exposed section from Eagle Pass to Chin not bad today. Chose route as day went along. Lack of difficult icy conditions and seeing that Mansfield wasn't making snow on upper part of Nose Dive led me to do loop with Haselton down. Not sure of usage on Haselton once ski season starts. Another blue sky day along ridge (which had minimal ice). Only 3 other hikers met.
