Ski area tote road
No snow and unfrozen ground until the uppermost mountain, 3-4 inches on the ridge, used my poles for that part but really, a breeze for December!
Normally at this date the Jerusalem Trail would be a better idea, but ski area operations are very limited on this mountain right now. Summits in the clear under overcast, could see the Franconias, Moosilauke, down to Cardigain, and over to Lake Champlain, up and down the Greens, but NOT the Adirondacks or Presi's. Quiet day on the hill. |
