Comments
Comments: Good grass conditions on the slopes, still short from fall mowing. Didn’t encounter any ticks, breeze kept the black flies away. Used Lower Wanderer, Lower West Meadow, Work Road and Mikey’s Way as our uphill route, catching the actual work road at the junction with Interstate. Stratton Ridge Trail was fine, short stretch of mud around the big bridge area; there was another short stretch still showing helpful rocks to hop on just past there as well. Fire tower feels rickety to me, but the cab was open. Careful for some broken glass panes on the last landing.
