Lower part of trail is a road and traffic has made it somewhat slick. I barebooted up but used the micro spikes on the way down. Some balling on the spikes but they were useful in the ledges below the tower on the summit. Quiet in the woods on the way up but a steady wind in the tower. Only met two hikers on this noontime hike. |
