Beautiful day for a long stroll around most of the Wright's Mtn Trail network. Maintenance on the northern side is stellar, waterbars, rocks placed at wet spots, really enjoyable trails! None too soggy, even bare soil was dry and easy to traverse. Leaves grew a bit dense on the upper Wilderness Trail and got off-trail while following various other old logging roads before realizing my error and correcting. Trees are all blazed, some trails better than others. Great views from the summit ledge westerly, east views as well at the Appreciation Way junction out toward the Benton Range, Kinsmans and Franconia somewhat visible in yesterdays haze.
Lots of new benches strewn throughout the network of trails, one being at Devils Den which affords stunning views!
Feel free to check out the link below for a more in-depth write up of the trails with some color photography mixed in. Enjoy!
Happy Climbing!
