Red Gate lot was full at 8:45, so we parked at the overflow lot further down the road (plenty of room). |

No blowdowns. Not too much advanced erosion either. |

I think dogs have to be leashed in certain places (summit?) |

None today due to the cooler temperatures. |

| Comments: |
Trail was fairly dry with a few damp spots higher up from a brief shower, as well as some slippery rock up high. Good footing for a good portion of the way.
Auto road was open, as was the summit visitor center. Nice views from the upper decks.
Cloudy morning with temperatures in the 50s and occasional glimpses of sun. |
