| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking area was pretty full by 10:30am but there seemed to be plenty of parking in the lot and roadside just outside the lot. About the same at 3:00pm. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossing were no problem. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few trees across the Long and Forest City Trails but easily stepped over. Major drainage issues on the Forest City Trail. Some places on Forest City are a stream and all of it was mud. Long trail has some treacherous areas particularly when descending steep areas along wet rocks. Some rerouting and maintenance could improve the LT. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of fur babies today. All friendly. |
| Bugs: |
Mostly black house flies but not a nuisance. |
| Lost and Found: |
A NIKE water bottle, a cooling "sock" and maybe one other item was left at the kiosk right at the start of the Burrows trails. Nothing valuable. |
