Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossing were no problem.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few trees across the Long and Forest City Trails but easily stepped over. Major drainage issues on the Forest City Trail. Some places on Forest City are a stream and all of it was mud. Long trail has some treacherous areas particularly when descending steep areas along wet rocks. Some rerouting and maintenance could improve the LT.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of fur babies today. All friendly.
Bugs
Bugs: Mostly black house flies but not a nuisance.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A NIKE water bottle, a cooling "sock" and maybe one other item was left at the kiosk right at the start of the Burrows trails. Nothing valuable.
