| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Newly expanded lot since my last time here (July 2022) so estimate an extra 30-40 spaces. Couple of work areas on Camel's Hump Road; one way traffic mid-week likely. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Couple of them required cautious stepping to keep feet dry. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Looked like the GMC had been doing what needed to be done to keep the trails nice. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of them out and lots of water available. Leash rules near summit. |
|
| Bugs: |
Didn't notice any. |

| Comments: |
Noonish start and route taken makes for a quieter day. Trails still wet but probably nicer than most days of this summer. Highly recommend a loop hike here using the Long Tr. either side you start from. |
