This trail is really well maintained. I do wonder though, if you are going to put out informational signs (like the invasive species/ash tree notices) why not grab them at the end of fall so they don’t effectively become garbage? |

Conditions were great compared to what I was expecting. Tom wore his microspikes door to door. I put mine on close to the junction. The trail is icy but there is decent traction in most spots between some patches of packed snow and the tops of bare rocks. Hillsounds would be the better choice if you don’t want to pay as much attention, there’s a few tricky sections of hard ice. Most of it is easily avoidable though. |
