Comments
Comments: From the medical office, I beelined up the old ski trails to the top of the old Norwich ski area, then followed a purple blazed trail to the Clark Route, etc. Trace to a half inch of snow and virtually no ice. A few areas of frozen mud. Quite a mountain bike and backcountry ski trail network on the old ski area.

Descended via Barker Route and Paine Mountain Trail. This route had extended stretches of eroded trail and blue ice, but nothing covering the whole footbed (more of a woods road), so I didn't think about spikes. I then cut across the field and connected back to the old ski area via a mountain bike trail.

Generally gradual trails with (other than the aforementioned gullied area) good footing. No views from the summit, but some views from the abandoned ski area. Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the 20s.
