Comments
Comments: Windsor trail excellent, hard-frozen snow above the first stream crossing, allowing for off-trail, straight-line approach. Runnable. Used Salomon Speedspike sneakers and poles. Carried microspikes, just in case. Going down Brownsville trail, a completely different story: upper 1/3 excellent, middle and lower with a lot of continuous hard ice. Bypassed as much as possible but some sections impossible to avoid ice. Nicely challenging.
