Comments
Comments: It was a nice snowy day to do the ridge loop clockwise which is recommended in winter. Used snowshoes the whole way except I did switch to trail crampons on the steep section between the Fire Warden's foundation and the Fire Tower where ice is below the snow in the usual places. I also used a winter bypass to avoid the crux. Snowshoes with cleats would work if careful. Microspikes probably not so well with loose and powdery snow right now. Over one foot of snow by early afternoon had fallen.
