Trail is in good shape. No blowdowns, no erosion. Found a still-smoldering campfire at the Birch Glen Shelter. Gave some of my body's water to extinguish it. Please be sure to put out campfires - there's an adjacent water source. Would have been trivially easy. |

Out and back to the Birch Glen shelter and LT junction for my LT side-to-side. Met a thru-hiker named Garmin at the Birch Glen Shelter and hiked out their trash. Managed to avoid the rain. |
