Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There is too many to list. .1 from the lot is a tree that could use a handsaw (no I didn't have mine on me). There were many blowdowns that had to be stepped over that were about 1-3' off the ground. I would say just come through with an AX, a really strong hand saw, or a chainsaw. There is also sections that need to be brushed out as all sides touch you while walking on the trail. There are some failed watrerbars and mud sections I remember from years ago but nothing to fix the issue or even try to step on anything like a rock or bog bridge which in turn seems to make the trail wider with all the walk arounds.

Comments
Comments: I decided to head off to Vermont and hit some 4k's since it has been a while since I have been here. I have not been at Lincoln Gap since 2014!! I was surprised to be the first one on trail at 7:20AM but the rain and cloudy overcast day seemed to keep people away. I made good time for my in the clouds view and headed out towards Ellen after Abraham. I only saw 1 person next to their tent at the shelter and then 1 guy heading north from the ski lift area. When I got to Ellen I was hoping I would see someone that maybe would want to drive me around but there was no one in sight. So I had a snack, it started to rain and headed back the way I came from. I made good time and went into the building where the ski lift was and had a good chat with a guy. After this is where the people were never ending it seemed. It cleared a little bit on Abraham which was nice and then it was no backpack ground after jeans, after more people. Almost to the car there was a set of 4 with a string bag and tennis sneakers. I was glad to get out of the mass amount of people and back to my car. The skies were completely clear when I finished around 1:30.
