Comments
Comments: Much excellent powder snow from last week's big dump. Trail established, but loose snow makes snowshoes somewhat easier. EVERYTHING covered in snow, more as one ascends to thick "hoodoo" appearance higher up. Beautiful beyond description. Thin clouds blew in and out, intermittent undercast over Vermont; peaks of whites and 'daks visible above clouds. Wished we could have stayed on summit longer, but wind on top "brisk".

Kestrel data: temp=-5 wind 20-25 wind chill= down to -34
