Jerusalem trail was a gentle approach to the Long Trail. Double track logging road initially, on private land, loose gravel underfoot. Upper section a little more rocky.
The ridge walk on the LT to Ellen was beautiful, small view points on either side here and there. Soft under foot through the hemlock and balsam forest. |
