Jerusalem Trail was mostly in great shape. Last 1/10 of a mile approaching the Long Trail was heavily iced and steep. Look to hike around this section. Long Trail had patches of ice, and MICROspikes definitely came in handy, although there was also a lot of bare rock as well leading to a classic, "Should I, shouldn't I" situation. Light snow the final 200 vertical feet approaching the ski lift. Plenty of firm, manmade snow on the top. |
