Small blowdown going up Bettell trail (forgot my saw). Larger blowdown going north on The Long Trail just past Abraham summit about thigh high. Many leaning trees that you can easily go under now, but may become a nuisance as the snowpack starts to accumulate. |

| Comments: |
Couple small patches of ice on LT between camp site and Abraham summit, easily avoidable. Larger ice patches on ridge between Abraham and Ellen. Each only lasts about 10 to 15 feet, so would be too tedious to put spikes on and take them off, just go slow and you'll be fine. Going north just after Lincoln Peak their is quite a bit of ice, spikes would probably be good here, you can get around it without though.
Still some mud on ridge, most of it is pretty frozen. There are some small patches that are not quite frozen yet, but didn't sink in more than an inch. |
