Comments
Comments: Solo hike up Bromley from Route 11. About 3" fresh powder atop a firm base at lower elevations, 4" higher up with much deeper drifts. Snow is soft and unstable--snowshoes are the best option for now. Maybe 1.5 feet of snow off trail. Last 0.3 along hard & groomed ski trail. Hadn't been up there in ages, wanted to check out the new summit tower. Couldn't appreciate it long in the cold and wind today. Ski area was moderately busy despite the cold.
