 | Comments: |
Deep snow today. We were snowshoeing through knee-deep and waist deep snow, at times only making a half mile per hour. When we got to the ridge, we couldn't find the Long Trail even though our GPS showed we were standing right on it. With light waning and temps dropping (down to -20 below tonight) we decided to bail and hiked out. The mountains will be there another day. The 8 mile round trip took 8 hours. |
