Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the shooting range. A few spaces are plowed and there is signage suggesting no entrance, but apparently it's okay if you aren't obnoxious and stick to the Robbins access road. There's a sign for the wildlife area once you reach the gate.

Comments
Comments: The region picked up another inch or two of powder last night (before tonight's potential storm). About 18 inches of powder down low and 3 feet up high. The gated access road had seen tracked vehicle traffic at some point during the week and then some ski activity today (stopping where the road levels off a few tenths before the summit).

No views from the highpoint (either in the woods just south of the tower, or in the fenced off tower complex). I bushwhacked just a little bit south in deep, deep powder and found some nice ledges with impressive views of Camel's Hump. I also found a small crag a few a couple hundred vertical feet below the summit (visible from the access road) that had an Adirondack view.

Sunny afternoon with temperatures in the upper 20s.
