After a super-fun morning snowboarding Saskadena 6, on my way back I revisited this gorgeous area. Didn't really require snowshoes but I use tiny ones that are good for jogging - the descent was super-fast and super pretty. Amazing views. After the South Tom outlook, I took the carriage rd (groomed for XC skiing) to the Billings trail which was not broken out. Snow was maybe a foot deep - I wasn't really able to pack it. Around the summit (north peak), I lost blazes but I just went obvious direction to high point. |
