Comments
Comments: Trail has taken a beating in places for parasitic postholing. Not the worst, but not the best. At this point it can be Microspiked, but judging by the feel of the footbed, it would not hold up well to above freezing weather. I wore snowshoes roundtrip in hopes of leaving the trail better than I found it, but couldn't do much to fix the postholes.

Generally about 1.5 to 2 feet of snowpack. The first few flights of steps on the fire tower were loaded with snow, but clear thereafter.

Clear afternoon with temperatures in the upper 20s (doesn't look like it got above freezing here, even though downtown was in the mid-30s).
