Nothing special for most of the Jerusalem trail. It's hard to follow the trail as you start to get closer to the ridge, so when you see the sign on the tree, stay left. From there the snow is very firm so you can walk just about anywhere, which is good, because you basically can't consistently follow the trail. It's poorly marked and good luck distinguishing strange snow patterns from footsteps. If I was ever on the actual trail then it was purely by mistake. If you lose your way I think the trail is mostly on the eastern side, but even then you're just smashing your face into branches most of the way. Have fun! |
