Comments
Comments: Some tough trail conditions and I feel will get much worse. In the next few days with the forecasted weather. Road walk was a little slushy and mostly stable snow for the first mile or so on Sunset. Did enough postholing that I switched to snowshoes. At treeline and above a mix of extended sections of bare rock and deep drifting snow with with serious spruce traps. I fell into a few chest deep. Switch back and forth between snowshoes and bare boots multiple times.
