Comments
Comments: Adams Camp area in Stowe. This is a nice forested area - trails are multi-use combining woods roads and mountain bike trails in summer and cross county skiing snowshoe trails in winter. Took a nice loop hike of about 5 miles. All trails have gentle grades - steepest part is the first couple hundred yards right at the trailhead. Ranch Camp trail was a bit overgrown. No real long distance views but you can see Mansfield through the trees; likely a nice view in the winter. This system of trails sits between the Trapp Family Lodge trail network and the Trails of the Stowe Mountain Cross Country Skiing Center so there are lots up options for taking longer excursions through Trapp does charge a trail access fee to use their trails. A nice place to go if you are in the Stowe area and want to get out in the woods; A real nice walk along the brook an the Burt trail to close the loop.
