Needed a local trail to break in some new boots, and it had been awhile since I went up Moose. Went up and over from Wheeler Mt. Rd. to the Overlook, and then back up and over returning to the trailhead. A little over 5 miles. The initial climb is harder than the return. Leaves are starting to come down, but not enough to obscure the trail or compromise footing. Yet. Fun walk. |
