Fabulous trailwork by whoever maintains the Blue Trail. It is well-blazed, cleared of blowdowns and good drainage for an old Jeep road. |

Really nice almost-fall day in southwestern Vermont. This approach can be stiff and steep in places. Bear right at all junctions to do a loop of South Peak and North Peak. Cool remnants of a 1930s fire tower on South. Summit canister and remnants of an old cabin atop North. |
