Comments
Comments: A short 3.2 mile round trip on the long trail with about 800 ft or so of elevation gain. The trail offers a gentle ascent most of the way with many switchbacks with only a short section that is a bit steeper the last .1 mile. Trail was dry and clear all the way. Along the way cross Gleason Brook which during times of more water has waterfalls that can be accessed above and below the trail crossing. Duxbury window provides a limited view of the valley below and some nearby peaks and also has a nice bench to sit on after the hike up. Met many folks out today and quite a few friendly dogs. For those looking for an easy hike through nice woods with a view this one is worth it.
