Scattered parking along Hogback Road or nice lot off Rte 15 West of Johnson village. Raining acorns upon parked cars and throughout woods today. |

Secondary channel on Lamoille River completely dry. |

Nice set of steps up bank on south end of Lamoille crossing installed by GMC. |

No water. Ledge drop offs. Fast traffic on Hogback Road crossing. |

 | Comments: |
All still green here compared to near peak colors 15 miles up river in Wolcott. Long Trail no longer goes across Prospect Rock but is an easy 5 minutes there by spur trail. Long Trail goes route of bypass used during peregrine falcon bans in spring/early summer. Short hike with some elevation gain. |
