very easy hike to a 4000 ft summit. went up alpine trail and saw the wing from airplane crash.... info about it at trailhead. foliage is burnt and distant views were hazy... couldn't see Mt Washington or the Adirondack's. busy trail on the weekend... was back to the trailhead at 11:30am. both upper and lower lots were full. |
