The Park is now closed until next year. The gated access off Beach Road is now open for winter use, with an informational sign on the closed gate into the campground and portalettes in the parking area. There's no need to park near the main entrance on VT 12 as there's plenty of available parking off Beach Road. |

Generally, a very nice hike now that the State Park is closed. Leaves are basically all down and with iffy weather this afternoon Junebug and I enjoyed a quiet hike without seeing anyone except a few folks walking on the CCC Road. |
